What is a Conducive Environment? Good Question!

Conducive: Adjective – tending to produce, conducing, contribute, helpful, favorable.

These are areas around your property that can attract Timber Pests, namely Termites. The main contributing factor is moisture. Wet or damp wood is a termite favourite and this is why most termite damage is found in wet areas like the laundry and bathroom. Tree stumps are another problem area. Over time they breakdown and being exposed to the rain are able to hold high levels of moisture. This allows termites to build a “subnest” in the stump and continue to grow.
